What You Need For Summer

Summer is not my favorite season. I do not enjoy being warm. In fact, I much prefer being consumed by the chill of A/C. I love A/C so much, it’s typically blasted so high in my car that my eyes dry up. That’s how I do summer. The problem is, my family loves being outside. They love humidity on their skin. They love running outside until their cheeks turn red and their clothes are dirty. It’s a nightmare in my head just thinking about it. Humidity is one of my biggest enemies (hello, have you seen my hair?). Sweat is also the worst. I could rant endlessly about this but that’s not the point of this post.

My point is to share the things that help me “tolerate” being outside in the summer for my family. Below I compiled a list of my Must-Have summer items. If I don’t have these, I won’t be outside. This list has helped me actually enjoy the outdoors, so if you’re like me, I hope they can help you too. These items work great if you’re in your backyard, camping or lounging at the beach.
